Netgear USB Control Center and Mac OS Mojave 10.14
Configuration:
Internet connection through Netgear Nighthawk r7000 A1900 Smart Wifi Router
USB connection from Brother HL-l2300D (no built-in networking) to Netgear AC1200 High Power 700mW Dual Band Wi-Fi Range Extender - Desktop with 5 Ports (EX6200)
Basically this configuration has been working for several months, using the Netgear USB Control Center software to establish a direct-via-ethernet connection from my iMac to the printer.
I did not upgrade from Sierra (Mac OS 10.11) to High Sierra (Mac OS 10.13) because it was mostly for people with iPhones. But Oasis (Mac OS 10.14) had a number of good features so I upgraded this week. Upgrade went without a hitch, but when run the Netgear USB Control Center displays a dialog saying "Installation is incomplete! Please reinstall again. <OK>"
Reinstalling has had no effect on this. It continues to dispaly that message.
I'm, using installer version 2.40, downloaded from
https://kb.netgear.com/000053245/ReadySHARE-Printer-Utility-Version-2-40-Mac-Supports-MAC-OS-10-13-and-above
Please advise.

This issue has been on the list for months. When can we expect a resolution?
Also, when I download and install the print share software it fails repeatedly showing ' Installation incomplete'. I am not alone with that issue as well. C'mon guys - any progress to report?
Here is a great work-around for network printing until Netgear figures it out. Search internet for a 'shareware' program called HandyPrint. Works simply smooth with my Netgear R6400 router, Mac iOS 10.14 and Canon D530 printer.

So Jeff, will this will work with dumb printers that only have a USB interface that is plugged into a Netgear extender? Do you recommend the 5.0 version, or is the 3.15 version suitable for determining it's performance?

Dear Netgear
I am running into this problem, a problem that is easily reproducible, major, and was first reported almost five months ago. Seriously?
Environment:
MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports)
macOS Mojave 10.14.3

Yup. Welcome to the "Netgear Community."
Understand Netgear is phasing out this feature - at least it's absence of the ReadyShare USB Print feature from the bleeding edge RAX80 (AX8) and RAX120 (AX12) does confirm this impression. Is this another dead end ChristineT Christian_R ? Fixing this should take days, not more than half a year. If this is the"new Netgear" than good night.

That would be disappointing and a very good reason to go with a different manufacturer. Developers need to budget for system-change-related updates to their utilites, otherwise they're just planning for the product to become obsolete. Rewarding such planning by buying another product from them is the worst message we can send as consumers.
And yes, as someone with decades of software development under his belt, I can confirm that a reasonably skilled OSX developer should be able to do such an update in days, not months.
seriously, still no update?
ChristineT Christian_R The macOS 10.14 developer and beta releases are available for almost 18 months now - can't be that Netgear is leaving the customers back behind that long - complete disappointing. Even for consumer software, releases must be ready on major upgrades (being macOS, Windows, ...).

same issue, NetGear USB control center will not install, heading to Amazon to change my product review. Netger response to the thread very disappointing...

I have the exact same issue.
MacOS Mojave 10.14, USB Control Center V2.40, App Store and identified developers option selected on Allow apps downloaded from and I always get the Installation is incomplete! Please reinstall again message.
Would you please provide a fix/solution for this issue?
Thanks

Has this STILL not been addressed or resolved? I just installed Mojave on my MacBook Pro.
I get the message: Netgear USB Control Center Installation is incomplete! Please reinstall again.
I had to do a force quit after the message popped up because it stopped responding.

Just getting in the que in the event this issue is ever resolved and a notification is sent out, I mean it's only been occuring for about a year! MacBook Air, OS Mojave, 10.14.6.
