NightHawk R6900 Circle app not recognizing

Hello,
I activated Circle parental control on R6900 nighthawk router and all was working well. However, now via Android Circle app, i can not connect to manage Circle devices nor does the app recognize I have circle active on my router. Anyone have any idea how to proceed?

    Hi uNiTs,

     

    1. What is the firmware version of the router?

    2. What is the Android app version that  you have installed?

    3. Have you tried using another device (Android, iOS)?

  • Problem solved!
    Here's the details in case anyone comes looking:
    Router version- V1.0.1.28_1.0.21
    Circle Android app version- 2.0.6
    Did not use another device for problem solving.
    As for the solution, I went to my router page and turned off parental controls and hit apply. After the page refreshed I simply turned Circle parental controls back on and hit apply. I know this seems simple enough and it crossed mind to try this. However, I skipped it because I had tried rebooting and figured that was enough.
    Looking up the Circle app version for this post I discovered a recent update had been made (December 04). I assume this was the cause.
