Cannot connect printer to MR70 router!
I have a Brother HL-2280DW that has been working fine for a while & now shows a offline - I've tried everything I can think of to try to get it connected & am having ZERO luck!
Trying setting up from scratch, going through (temporary) LAN cable & USB cable, but the printer never shows on network!
I've tried connecting with the WPS PIN & it times out & the printer is withing spitting distance of the router!
Any suggestions?

Is this a wifi connection to the printer?
The usual way to fix wifi printers is to find the printer maker's utility, the software that runs on your operating system. Then use that to connect the printer to the wifi.
This is for HP printers.

Brother stuff seems to be less helpful on that front. But those links may offer some clues.
The router just broadcasts wifi. It is then down to the printer to play ball. There isn't much that you can do on a router, beyond fixing it to a particular IP address, that affects what the printer gets up to.
Where possible, using the WPS feature can simplify things.

I've been trying the WPS feature, both the soft push & the PIN but the printer says it cannot find an access point, but it is maybe 6 feet away from the printer!

Here are some links to Brother's support pages for connecting printers to wifi.

They are model specific, but they should apply to any printer you have.

Found this after digging around on Brother's site.
I have used the Brother set up utility, temporarily connecting via USB cable & it finds my network immediately & says its connected & to disconnect the USB cable, but the next step, it suddenly cannot find my network! I may try setting up a 2.4 GHz network for it alone, but if all else fails, I guess I could run an Ethernet cable around the outside of the room!
If you experience repeated offline or lost connection issues with your Brother machine, the mesh network’s name (SSID) must be separated into different bands and the Brother machine must be connected to the 2.4 GHz network.
Not all mesh network configurations allow for separating the network name (SSID). Please check with your device manufacturer for specifications and instructions.
EERO Mesh Network Users: We have found a link between EERO routers and Brother devices, which may cause frequent wireless disconnection. Our technical support team has thoroughly researched the situation and found that due to the specifications of EERO routers, we do not have the ability to stabilize their wireless connection with the Brother device. For a better overall network connection, we recommend using your Brother device with an Ethernet cable connected to your router, if supported by your machine's specifications. You may also use a USB cable connected directly to your computer. Brother cannot offer any further assistance with this issue while using an EERO router.
