1. you have the Xr500, what firmware is on it?
2. what modem/gateway is it connected to ?
3. what voip phone/model did you connect to it?
4. Your description was pretty vague and without much details. Is the router still working for other devices? Say an led is white doesn't tell us which one or whats going on? You've tried restarting the phone? the router? The more details you tell us the better we can help you. And usually if somethings wrong, we recommend starting at step 1. if the router isn't working, start at fixing that. Get it working properly and then go to the phone .
- Conturner0151AspirantI don’t know the firmware cause I can’t connect to the router
- Conturner0151AspirantIt was a yealink phone it’s connected to virgin internet not sure how that’s applicable as it’s the Netgear router not showing a signal not the virgin router

it’s connected to virgin internet---virgin tends to use modem/router combo devices that can cause double nat issues. Some voip phones have their own dhcp servers as well. could causes even more nat issues. Which is why we ask models. What virgin hub is it connected to?
not sure how that’s applicable as it’s the Netgear router not showing a signal not the virgin router---wifi's not showing? Or wired devices don't work? What are all the led's on the router doing? Not just one, all of them.again, details are key to helping. We can't help off vague answers and minimal details. All we can do is give general advice without specifics.
- Netduma-FraserNetDuma PartnerDisconnect the handset then unplug the router from power for 10 minutes, plug in, wait 2 minutes and see if it's back to working again. Then connect the phone again and see if you can reproduce the issue.
