Low speeds high ping ethernet and wifi
I pay for 1gig download through spectrum, recently got all cable lines redug cause was high latency issues and it was busted. Everything was tested all the way up to the cat6 cable from modem to router. The speeds they tested out of router were not even close to ones the cat6 were getting right before the router. I test with an ethernet and im getting 450mb down 30mb up.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected tooHas a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed?
- ReklessKingAspirantCurrent version is most updated one. I had an issue with the geo filter and ping assist went back a version it worked then I updated to latest again and factory reset it.
Believe the modem is a EN2551 or something not home currently to see. I have turned everything off and reset it multiple times this exact way.
- Netduma-FraserNetDuma PartnerHave you entered your correct speeds in Bandwidth settings? Are you using Connection Benchmark or speedtest.net?
- ReklessKingAspirantWhen I go to change speeds I've tried letting it auto detect and that doesn't detect near what my speeds should be. When I manually input what they should be the connection benchmark is a D on every one of them. When I lower to 500mb and 30 up I can get A/B on connection benchmark.
I have also used speedtest.net Ookla speed test same result high download pings as well.
All test done with ethernet for maximum performance.- Netduma-FraserNetDuma PartnerDon't use Benchmark to test the speed, just with speedtest.net. If you disable QoS fully do you get expected speeds then?
