hello i want ask about open ports on xr500 for ps4 , i have bad experience with dmz :( so i want try to open ports but i dont know which setting i use .

You need to do try a couple of things:This would be a double NAT condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAThttps://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NATCouple of options,1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the NG router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly. Make sure the ISP can do this with you. 2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the NG router gets from the modem. Do you see OPEN NAT on your consoles networking status? IF you have PS then the port it's using is correct. If you get OPEN NAT on the PS networing status and in MW with NAT Filter set to OPEN and uPNP enabled, this is all you need if you got option #1 configured on the modem.

I used bridge mode from ISP router ,, I didn’t find upnp to open the ports well, because I tried that with cod:MW game and it appears to me that Nat modraete , UPNP only open one ports 3659 UDP !!If i enabled DMZ the NAT is open but i have bad experience with it . so now i will try to open ports but i dont know how ?? by Port Forwarding or Port Triggering ?

If you disable the Geo-Filter before turning on the console does it appear open? Sometimes the Geo-Filter can cause a misreading.

Firstly what is your physical setup? UPnP should be able to open the ports without using the DMZ or port forwarding. How are you determining the NAT type?

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Are you sure the ISP modem is fully bridged? The Internet WAN port address will show a ##.##.###.### kind of address if it's fully bridged.

This a PC or game console?
What is the port being seen and used by the console if you have a game console. It should be 3074.

Do not use DMZ for your game device. uPnP is only needed. If you only have 1 PC or gameconsole and NAT is single at the XR router and the modem is fully bridged, OPEN NAT should be seen in the game and xbox networking settings.

  actully i dont know if bridged with ISP router well , he give me public ip and its work with PPPOE in xr500 ,, but maybe need some settings with bridge mode from isp router .

  there is only one port i see on ps4 IP in UPNP : 3659 UDP !!
  
  if i used UPNP the NAT with call of duty:MW game on ps4 is moderate

    In WAN Settings switch NAT from Secure to Open, does that fix it?
