Issue when rebooting RBR750P - router continually cycles and requires reset
I have an issue when rebooting my RBR750P. Every time I do a reboot, the router stops working. It will come back up, but I am unable to connect to it. My Wifi network will appear on my devices but I can't connect. If I hook up to the router via ethernet, I can't access the device. The only way to get it work again is to do a reset and set up my router fresh again. I can't even load a configuration file, if I try to set it up via a saved config I have the same issues as above (wifi network isn't available, can't access via ethernet).
This issue does NOT happen if I power cycle by unplugging and then plugging in the router.
I can't find anything in the logs to indicate what the issue might be so I don't even know where to start troubleshooting/debugging.
Has anyone experienced anything like this, or have an idea where to start looking?
Hardware Version RBR750P
Firmware Version V6.3.8.5_1.4.80
GUI Language Version V1.0.0.445
Operation Mode Router

The modem is Arris TouchStone CM8200A. The LAN cable is a good one (CAT6).
I didn't know about the RBR /debug.htm page. I see an option to "Start Debug Log Capture when boot up" I will try as a possible option. The issue that I continue to struggle with is that I can't seem to access the router in any possible way after a reboot so I have no idea what the logs record. And when I factory reset (both of the options you listed are the reset I am doing, so I can confirm I am already performing a "factory reset").
Is there a way to stream the logs off the router some other way?
I have 3 satellites but when I reboot I can't connect to personal wifi so can't do anything with them. When I factory reset, the satellites do automatically re-sync.

Might have the ISP checkeverything up to the modem.
Just checking the debug page to see if the UPTIME seen there is same or different from RBRs Advanced Tab/Internet section. WAN and LAN side UP time values should be same from the debug page.

When you factory reset the system, be sure to power OFF the ISP modem for 1 minute then back ON. Then walk thru the setup wizard. Follow the guide.

have you tried reinstalling the firmware to the router? maybe its corrupt.
AFter that, try the factory reset and reinstall.
Don't use a saved configuration when you reinstall.

Yes, I did try reinstalling the firmware, although I could try again as that was a while back. Is there just one reset or is there soft and hard/factory? If there are two types I think I’m only doing the soft reset

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
Does both WAN-LAN Show stats on the RBRs web page under Advanced Tab/Internet section and RBR IP address/debug.htm both show system up time as all being reset when this happens?
Have any RBS deployed?
Two different way to do a factory reset:
- Press the reset button in back for 15 seconds then release.
