Orbi RBR850 speed limited on ethernet and wifi
The orbi router seems to throttle the speed on it's lan ports and on wifi
Rebooting the orbi helps for a short while
after some time the speed drop to around a 90Mbit connection usually some internet glitches occurr
I if connect directly to the modem of the isp I get 800mbit plus connection
Using a linksys router inbetween I also get 800mbit plus connection
After a reboot I usually get the 800mbit speed for a while but then it drops again making me very sad about this very expensive product.
Since I'm still in warranty I'm thinking about returning this product unless this gets fixed soon.
I first thought it was an issue with the isp but did some extensive testing with them and there is no issue with their connection.

I also tried the factory reset as mentioned on some other topic
Highspeed internet acces laster for about 2 mins 600mbit plus download 50mbit upload
donwloads limited again to 90 mbit upload goes anywhere between 0.5mbit en 40mbit
Really dissappointed in this product
Please post about this over in the Orbi AX forum:

Thank you.
Does this help? https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi-AX/Community-FAQ-My-Orbi-speeds-are-slow-inconsistent-and-don-t-my/m-p/1982974
You seem to have verified the slow down is at the base station, make sure to disable the functionality mentioned in the FAQ.

Checked out the faq, seems like my steps are in order
I turned off traffic monitor but that did not show any difference
as is what i would expect from a decent traffic manager :-(
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?Has a power off for 1 minute then back on been performed since last update withthe ISP modem and RBR?

I wonder what happpened
I did extensive testing for more then a week continous issues with the netgear router
and now for 3days in a row it is acting like it should
no changes on the netwerk what so ever :-s
Like the guys from netgear fixed it without letting it now
and probably that is what happened
because i have now a firmware version which is higher then the one on the download site
and this was a week a ago the same firware version
I am now on v3.2.16.6 which seems to behave nice on my network (before v3.2.15.32)
So far no throttling on lan ports, no throttling on the wireless connection.
If this solution holds up I'm again a happy customer
Let's keep an eye on it for the comming weeks
Lot's of video conferencing that needs to run smoothly
crossing my fingers
Glad to hear things are now working for you. Might've been ISP modem and/or Orbi restarting too.

Note that 3.2.16.6 has been available for over a month. You can find the latest Orbi AX firmware downloads at https://www.netgear.com/support/product/RBK852#download.
However, usually the safest and most convenient thing is to let your Orbi update itself and only jump onto a newer firmware issue if you're experiencing a specific problem that it fixes or if you want to always have the latest (and hopefully, greatest) firmware version - Like many of us here. :-)
