RBS750 satellite question

I might be an idiot and just have no idea.whats going on but maybe someone can clarify. I have a 2 story house with thick walls so I needed this system. I have my satellites in different t areas and it seems to work wireless. However the moment I take a laptop or a thing and wire into one of the satellites the led goes out and the connection in the orbi .matrix switches to wired and no internet is given.
Are you not allowed to hardwire In the satellites? I used both ports, rest and cycled numerous times. Firmware is up to date

  • Ethernet ports are present on Orbi satellites specifically so users can connect devices to the satellites with Ethernet cable.

This is independent of the firmware release.  One of the annoying features of the Orbi system is that the Firmware Update page does not always report the latest firmware release that can be found on the firmware update web site:

Did you disconnect the WiFi adapter from the Orbi network before plugging in the Ethernet cable?

Is there another Ethernet cable handy that can be used to see if the cable might be a problem?

  • How are the RBS connected to the RBR?

    How many RBS are deployed?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router 📡 and satellite(s)🛰️? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR 📡 and RBS 🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6is recommended.

Does this happen with the RBS turned OFF?
Does this happen with both wireless and wired devices?
What channel configurations are currently set on the router?
