Where is the new v.7 firmware for RBS350

I have an RBR750 with 2 RBS350, I see the lastest firmware for the RBR is 7.2.7.15.

It took me some time but the last time I upgraded my router to 7.2.6.31, I was able to find the RBS350 firmware of the same version.

Now that this new release is out the netgear website only shows firmware version 4x for the RBS350, yet your compatibility matrix says the RBS is compatible with the RBR750.

If I recall best practice is to have the router and satellites on the same version.

So where is the new version firmware for the RBS350?

Let us know your results after getting the RBS updated. If problems continue we can troubleshoot more then.

Might consider a full on factory reset and setup from scratch after FW is updated.

This should work just fine thanks for that.

My RBS350 are currently running 7.2.6.31 and prior to your post I updated my RBS750 & RBR750 to 7.2.7.15.

I really hope this new upgrade fixes the loss of connectivity to my internet, It makes working from home unbearable when your internet keeps dropping. I have frontier fiber which is a direct 1 gig ethernet connection from the ONT straight into my orbi and then I have a 500mb backup internet connection with Spectrum which has never gone done and it has a really old netgear Docsis 3.0 router that has never gone down, go figure.

  • Your system is appart of the 650 series which only supports using same version of FW on the RBS AND on the RBR. So if the RBS350s or 650 series don't how v7.2.7.15 at all, then you'll need to downgrade the RBR back to v.31 from here:

New - RBK653 Firmware Version 7.2.6.31 Released | NETGEAR Communities

However I see v.16 FW available for the RBS here: https://www.netgear.com/support/product/rbk652s/#download

So maybe just update the RBS if they are connected currently.

Update on the RBS350 firmware version 7.2.6.31 and the RBR750 firmware version 7.2.7.15

They have resolved my loss of internet connection to my fiber provider, its been a week straight since I installed the new firmware and I have not had one instance of loss connectivity.

I have even noticed the internet recover time is much faster. I live in FL so due to the severe storms twice my entire community loss power and once the power company restored the power my router took no time connecting and restoring Wi Fi.

As always thanks to the community to help us enjoy our Orbi systems even more.
