Is the Apple device only exhibiting this issue?

Any other devices to check on this?

What model Apple device is this?

What iOS version do you have loaded on the Apple device?

Has this been working at all or just started happening?

I'm on Spectrum. Apple connected to AT&T network. Spectrum modem is PC20.

  • Using my old RBR50 router, I was able to use the vpn pretty straightforward. I changed to the 770 series a few months ago. Going on a trip soon and need vpn.

So this hasn't ever worked on the 770 series since you got it?

Is the OpenVPN Connect app the most recent? (version 3.7.2)

It would be helpful if you could try a non-Apple device.

Internet search for that error message seems to suggest putting a line in the configuration file ("ifconfig"), which does NOT appear in the smartphone.ovpn file that the Orbi generates.
