Carrier Infinity Touch wall controls will not connect.
The Orbi 960 has the exact same problem. Carrier Infinity Touch wall controls will not connect.
Success!!! Woo Hoo!!!
I've been working with Matt, a level 2 Netgear Engineer over the past couple of weeks. He has been fantastic. He had me send some log files over and they sent me new firmware a few days later. I applied it and still couldn't connect. Same issue. Matt had me send over additional log files after the first firmware was applied. Last night he sent me new firmware and I applied it this morning. I am now able to connect my Carrier Infinity Touch thermostat to the Obri RBE 771/770 network!
Thanks for all of your support and ideas! So glad this is resolved and hopefully it will help others.

That is all on Netgear and the Orbi 960 and 970 lines. They have coded in something that has created an incompatibility. Way to expensive product to be the cause of IT headaches.
- This is completely unacceptable. I have spent hours troubleshooting. I am going to escalate my case: 48815294
This conversation appears to be incomplete. Would it be convenient to comment on the current problem (and system) in more detail:
- Which specific model of Carrier Infinity Touch?
- Which specific model & firmware of Orbi?
- Is the process in this video what is failing?

- Which specific model of Carrier Infinity Touch? Model SYSTXCCITC01-A
- Which specific model & firmware of Orbi?
Hardware Version RBE771 Firmware Version V10.5.13.1_2.2.34 GUI Language Version V4.0.0.22_2.1.30.3 - Is the process in this video what is failing? Yes. It will not connect. It worked fine on all routers until this Orbi RBE771 which is WiFi 7. Last router it worked on is a Nighthawk WiFi 6.
https://www.google.com/search?client=opera&q=Carrier+Infinity+Touch&sourceid=opera&ie=UTF-8&oe= - Also, I have tried all permutations known. I have also set up a SSID that is IoT, and using only 2.4Ghz.
- IPv6 is disabled.
I appreciate any help. This is clearly a Netgear issue, not a Carrier issue.
Will not connect how? To the main WLAN? Or to the separate IoT network?
Have you tried the Guest Network?
What FW is loaded on the system?
