can't log into router
I have a RAXE500 Netgear router firmware version v1.2.14.114. I am unable to get access to this router with any method. The ip address doesn't work and the web address takes me to the netgear website. I have everything hard wired thru a netgear hub. I have also tried to access with wifi. I also have nighthawk and it's no help.
I have no idea how to fix this.

You'll need to press the reset button on the back of the router for 10-15 seconds then release and setup the router from scratch with a wired PC and web browser:

I recommend disconnecting everything from the router and disconnect the router from the ISP modem/ONT as well. Once you get it setup, you can reconnect it back to the ISP modem/ONT.
What brand and model# is the ISP modem/ONT?

The modem is a iphotonix 7278g fiber optic by Buckeye cable. We have "fiber optic to the home".

Well, I was able to reset everything, but I still can't log into the router.
No matter what I put in it takes me to Netgear's site.
I'm lost.

And you reset the router with out it being connected to the ONT?
