I hope it is ok for everybody that my reply is in English.

First of all, Power timer („Programmateur“) is not sending the device to standby after a certain period of time, it is rather a time plan for booting up and shutting down the device.

Therefore, Power timer („Programmateur“) only works if some periods are set to on („Activé“) and others are set to off („Hors tension de jour/nuit“). They cannot all be set to off. It might be possible that with all periods set to off, that the ReadyNAS shuts down once at the beginning of each new week. But I am not sure about that.

Once the Power timer („Programmateur“) shuts down the ReadyNAS automatically all LEDs on the front panel will be off. The only LED still on will be that of the LAN port. Be advised if Power timer („Programmateur“) is used, the ReadyNAS will shut down regardless of any activities.

Regarding Wake-on-LAN, how do you attempt to wake up the device? Also, keep in mind that LAN port number 1 must be used for WoL to function correctly.

et oui cela s éteint une fois par semaine le dimanche, je pense que tout est cocher dans la plage horaire.
donc je suis d accord avec vous.

maintenant comment vérifier ou appliquer une simple mise en veille ( idle ) du nas ?

The ReadyNAS OS was designed with a focus on reliability and availability in mind.

An often reoccurring auto-spin down of hard discs for example is putting a considerable amount of stress on the discs compared to a rather small benefit regarding power consumption.

So, to answer your question, a standby mode (“mise en veille”) is not implemented at the moment. I know that there will be some changes with the release of OS 6.2, without knowing the exact details at the moment.

Un complément d'information
La fonction programmateur et la fonction Wake on Lan sont deux choses différentes.
Comme le précise EskenderNG il n'y a pas aujourd'hui de fonction mise en veille. Peut etre dans une prochaine version.
Le programmateur sert pour allumer et éteindre le NAS à des heures et jours programmés.
Le Wake on Lan ou Wake on Wan (depuis internet) permet d'allumer le NAS à distance lorsque celui-ci est éteint.
J'ai testé le Wake On Wan, depuis un autre poste (PC) et aussi un smartphone, et cela fonctionne.
Avec un smartphone Android, il existe une application (NAS Utils) qui permet de réveiller (allumer) le NAS et de l'éteindre.
