2.4 network not found, 5 network is working on a CAX30 modem/router.
I just purchased a CAX30 in December to avoid the new $10 from Spectrum.
It had been working without any issues until yesterday when I got home and about 95% of my home has no connectivity to my network on the 2.4 GHz band.
Every device that we have is on the older side, which is why they are (were???) connected to this network.
My newer devices that can work on the 5 GHz network are connected without any issues and at normal speeds.
All the lights on the modem/router are turned on and showing that there is activity. I am using the latest firmware for the modem/router.
I did try a full factory reset just to see if that would work but nothing.
I have also tried just for fun to enable the guest network under the 2.4 GHz band and it doesn't show up on my list of available networks, but, as soon as I enabled the 5 GHz guest network, that showed up on my list of networks almost instantaneously.
I have also tried to separate the networks, combine the networks using the smart connect feature but nothing seems to work.
Every change that I have tried fails to pick up the 2.4 GHz network.
Also, I'm using the tag for the CAX30s even though my equipment is the regular one without the "S" at the end.

- tried disabling smart connect
- tried a factory reset
- tried other devices to ensure its not specific to a phone/tablet
The only other t thing I'd try is reinstalling the firmware in case something was corrupted. Then factory reset and try it. If that doesn't work, I'd open a support case with netgear since you still should be within your warranty. It sounds like the 2.4ghz chip failed.
