AC1600 - Not Getting Speeds
Today, I finally had time to get a technician out from my ISP. They ran tests, sent signals, replaced my coax cable to bring it to the most modern cable, tested it at the end and said everything was perfect up to my box. However, they noticed a constant blinking light on the "download" icon. They mentioned this is when the ISP sends an update or a download to the box and since it is blinking he thought it was because the modem wasn't receiving the update--causing my speed issues.
Is there anyone who can help me get past this or should I replace my modem? Thank you!!

Hello MetalGuiterMax
You could try to factory reset the unit and see if it will take the download but if its stuck you may need to contact Netgear support if the modem is still under warranty.

How would I go about factory resetting the modem?
Thanks!- DarrenMSr. NETGEAR Moderator
You would just need to hold the reset button in for 10 seconds on the back of the unit after that you will have to set it up agian.
