C700v2- Naming Devices on Network

My device is not supported by the Orbi app, do I need that to change the device names on my network? I was using the Genie app and I had all my devices named. I can turn them on and off by name, which is easier than ip address. Genie app is no longer supported as of today, and I had to download Nighthawk app. I do not see an edit button to change the device names. Is there a way on the Nighthawk app? I do not plan to learn all devices by ip address. Or is there another app that support my device which has this capability?

Try inputting 192.168.0.1 into a web browser on your PC.

Use a wired or wireless PC or laptop and connect to the modems web page using a web browser to make changes to device naming there.

The Orbi app is only supported for Orbi MESH systems.

Ask NG to enable support for the modem on there NH app.

Thank you for your response. I do not know what is meant by loggin into the modem webpage. I know how to go online using my PC and log into my account. I do not see the devices that are on the network. These instructions are to change the names for devices that are logged into the network correct, and not the name of my hub?
