CAX80 wifi occasionally hangs
I have had a CAX80 for several years, generally very good. Perhaps once a month the wifi stops working. The RJ45 connections still work fine. I power cycle the CAX80 and all works again for about another month. Any ideas? I am considering adding a 120V timer to power-cycle the device once a week.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz
How many devices in total are connected the the CAX80?
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

I had mine online for months, though mostly in modem mode.
I keep a cooling fan under my modem at all times.

It is really difficult to diagnose a problem that occurs so seldom. Even remembering, "what was going on???" at the times that WiFi failed is almost impossible.
Did you know that the CAX80 User Manual describes a method to schedule turning the WiFi on/off by schedule. (page 56)

When my WiFi goes down, all sorts of devices complain.

Next time it goes down, a few things to try.
- log into it with a wired device. Check the logs/event logs. See if there's anything it shows
- Check if its both 2.4ghz and 5ghz or just one of them.
- If its both, try changing a channel to see if it fixes it.
