CG3000D keeps rebooting

Hi,

My wireless router is NETGEAR CG3000D-RG. It keeps rebooting itself. I am using Spectrum as provider and modem is owned by me. I am using TWC/Spectrum since year at same location and problem only started 2-3 weeks back. Event log in router has below messgaes when router is rebooted.

Interesting fact is, problem is not observed on weekend! Hardly observed during night hours. No logic behid it.

Problem occurs more during day time of week and causes lot of pain as I work from home. Sometimes keeps rebooting every 10 mins!.

Spectrum guy visited home yesterday and said nothing wrong with line (kind of blamed on modem).

Any help appericated!

These are the exact messages from event log of router captured during reboot,

Critical (3) - Started Unicast Maintenance Ranging - No Response received - T3 time-out
Error (4) - Missing BP Configuration Setting TLV Type: 17.8;

here is downstream/upstream current values (while it is up for 9hours- time since last reboot)

  • Thanks Darren for reply. I had spectrum technician visting my house and checked all lines. They do not check modem-router as it is owned by me. So after researching over internet and trying different things following solution seems to be working.

    1. Bought new A/C adapter for router from best buy (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-ac-adapter-black/5019131.p?skuId=5019131)

    2. Untouched other settings in modem/router

    Last 6 days not a single reboot observed! So I consider problem solved

        Your power levels are running a little high do you have a cable splitter connected to the modem if so try to remove that you also may want a tech from the ISP to come out and check your lines.
