CM1000v2 and RAX54v2 fluctuating download speeds. I go from 900mbps to 30mbps randomly.
I've already contacted my ISP and was told that everything is fine on their end. I've switched out all the ethernet cords to no avail. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks for the info. I had my ISP come out and they checked and changed the COAX cables. Said I wasn't getting any power and that one of the cables was dead. So far it seems to be working. I'll watch it for 24hr to see if it dips back down or not.

Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status and event log page.

Do you see same when ethernet connected directly to the back of the CM modem with out the router being online?Compare with different device or PC to see if same thing is seen there as well.
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
- RydaquinAspirantThanks for the quick reply Furry. I am currently at work so I'll get that information once I get home. I have tried bypassing the router but plugging directly to the modem with a cat8, no change. It happens on both wires and wireless devices.

Ok, if it happens directly connected to the modem, then ISP needs to review what I posted about.
