cm1200 or cm2000

I got charter gigabit plan with eero pro wifi 5 router with EN2251 with puma 7 i get speed on wifi 5 around 500mbps but in my room i get 400mbps.  Should i get a new. modem or  new router?

 

If i get a new modem like cm1200 or cm2000 will i get full speeds on wireles like in 700 or 800 mbps? I wa told my speed are normal on the gigabit plan. But on the charter gigabit modem on on a 2.5 gbps eth0 port.

    what speed do you get directly connected to the modem? 

    Are you speed testing directly attached to the router or over wireless?

        so you're modem is doing fine. Upgrading the modem isn't going to increase your speeds. 

        Usually the bottleneck is in the device you're testing on and not on the router/modem.

    Hi,

     

    I got a router and switch Question. I was thinking of get a new router I have a Eero pro wifi5  and when I get 3 node. What it does it slow the 3 one down. When I have 2 node on it work fine.

     

    I do had a network switch connect to it. I have a charter gigiabit 940 35 upload plan.Should I get a better wifi router  like Orbi?
