CM1200 setup issue
I connected and powered up my CM1200 modem, then activated it with my ISP (Xfinity). I use a Mac so no ethernet cable to connect to the modem with. I tried to connect directly to the modem using the direct connect address. I can't connect to the modem. I therefore don't know if my setup is complete. My ISP shows the modem as active and their health check indicates it's all good. I have my Nighthawk'AX6 AX5400 WiFi router connected to the modem, but the on-line LED is red and my WiFi won't work.
Didn't find anything helpful on Netgear site to connect to the modem directly (wirelessly).

Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.- AJM0624Aspirant
I have turned off modem and router, unplugged everything, then powered on modem and waited until it fully reboots to ppint of Online LED solid. Then I plugged in cable to router and powered it on. When it completes its startup the Online LED is Red.
I'm suppose to be able to connect to the modem using a direct access IP address. But it tells me to connect a computer to the router wirelessly. I can't seem to do that and I'm using a Mac so no ethernet port.

Can you find a USB to ethernet adapter? Usually cheap to find online.
