CM2050V Is upgrading firmware an issue?
I just purchased a Netgear CM2050V cable modem with voice because I want internet and a home phone number. However, there seems to be an issue with it that I wonder if anyone else might know about. ...
The firmware is built into the partitioning when they set it up initially.
netgear does submit firmware updates to xfinity but its on xfinity to push it to the modems.
they (xfinity) do updates but its rare.
