CM600 Xfinity: Modem Access Denied

Question

I purchased the CM600 to pair with our Xfinity service

The setup was easy and everything is working

I attempted to access the CM600 settings with the default "admin and password" credentials and have been denied

I do not recall setting new credentials in the setup process with Xfinity, I am at a loss

How do i access the CM600 settings at this point?

Disconnect the modem from the coax line. Connect a wired PC to the back of the modem. Factory reset the modem by pressing the reset button in back for 15 seconds then release. Wait a few minutes. Using a web browser, log in to the modems web page at 192.168.100.1. Attempt to gain access with admin and password. Does this work?

Thank you for the response&nbsp;At one point do I reattach the coax?&nbsp;Will the "reset" affect connection to Xfinity?

Can reattach if you gain access.&nbsp;&nbsp;It only resets the modem and and connection to the service. The modem will get a new IP address possibly and thats it.&nbsp;
