Comcast pops up when I don't have comcast internet

I recently moved to a new area. I tried to hook up my N450 to the internet, and when I do, a prompt to sign in to comcast shows up. I do not have comcast internet currently, but did in the past. I have done three full factory resets and the same box keeps popping up to sign into comcast. Is this an issue where I need to contact comcast and have them fix it? Or is there a way I can fix this without spend 7 hours on the phone?

you will need to activate your modem on your comcast account.

either you can SELF-ACTIVATE or call 1800-OK-BEGIN

Activate Your Equipment Over the Phone

    1. Call 1-855-OK-BEGIN (1-855-652-3446).
    2. While on the line for telephone activation, you will need:
      • The phone number associated with your account.
      • The last four digits of the equipment serial number(s).
      • The location of the equipment (living room, bedroom, etc.).
