I was told that I need to perform a factory reset on my Netgear N600, Model C3700 Modem/Router because my business VPN is being blocked. The Netgear support site tells me to find the pinhole on the back of the Modem/Router and press for 7 seconds. There is NO PINHOLE anywhere onthe unit that I can see. I realize that this is an extremely basic question, but I just cannot figure it out. The only button on the back in the On/Off.1.3KViews0likes3CommentsC6300 IP problems
I have had this modem for a few years now and it has always worked flawlessly. Today my internet provider upgaded my service and put me on a faster internet plan. Ever since then I can not access my modem/ router and the wifi does not work. The IP listed on my network connection is different from my router IP. For some reason it seems that I am connecting to the IP from my internet provider rather than my router. I can not even access my router from the routerlogin.net. Does anyone have a fix for this issue? I don't know much about networking so I am sorry for my vague and uneducated details.854Views0likes1CommentI need help!
I don't know what board to select or where to start, so first off I apologize! I need a Netgear wifi modem that's compatible with time warner spectrum. The "compatible models" are: C6250, C3000-100NAS, C3000v2, C3700-100NAS, C3700v2, C6300, C700-100NAS, and N450 CG3000Dv2. I don't know what any of those mean! I see on craigslist models that have model no: dgnd3700 and also says n600? Would that work? Someone please help me, thank you so much!!2.5KViews0likes4CommentsComcast pops up when I don't have comcast internet
I recently moved to a new area. I tried to hook up my N450 to the internet, and when I do, a prompt to sign in to comcast shows up. I do not have comcast internet currently, but did in the past. I have done three full factory resets and the same box keeps popping up to sign into comcast. Is this an issue where I need to contact comcast and have them fix it? Or is there a way I can fix this without spend 7 hours on the phone?2.8KViews0likes1CommentC3000 modem/router --> bridge connecting an AC1750
Will I loose the features of my original AC1750 if I buy my own C3000 modem/router and use that as 1st and bridge the AC1750 behind it? My home isn't tiny so I would like to use both to extend my range across different areas of the house.2.9KViews0likes1CommentNeed compatible modem/gateway
I currently have an Xfinity Arris model TG862G/CT Wireless Gateway (802.11b/g/n GigaPort x 4 Port Router w/ 2-Voice Lines) and a Nighthawk AC5300 - TriBand Wifi Router (Model R8500). The Xfinity Arris model TG862G/CT Wireless Gateway (802.11b/g/n GigaPort x 4 Port Router w/ 2-Voice Lines) no longer works and needs to be replaced. What cable modem/gateway, offering the same or better services, is compatible with the Nighthawk AC5300?3.3KViews0likes2CommentsCan't connect to cable modem/router; Can't access router login
so... i've been searching around and trying ideas for three hours now. nothing. after a reset, my laptop can connect to the router AND use the internet via WiFi. i was able to use the "routerlogin.net" app once or twice to change my settings back to the way they were, yet no other device would connect and it would tell me the "modem is offline". consistantly, less said times, the router will reset, my laptop will connect with default router settings, my laptop will get internet, and i will get the message that i am not connected via WiFi when attempting to access "routerlogin.net". what the heck is going on here?5.1KViews0likes3CommentsNetgear CMD31T blinking lights
My main question is what does it mean when both upstream/downstream pairs blink amber? I recently moved and changed services. About a week ago, my networking equipment was working perfectly. I've since called my ISP three times, each time there was different things possibly wrong. I'm mainly posting here hoping that I'm missing something obvious on my end. If it's helps or is considered relevant information, I'm dealing with TWC/Spectrum's internet service. Thanks for the help.Solved6KViews0likes3CommentsNETGEAR AC1750 / C6300 wifi cable modem router LAN connectivity problems
