Hardwired connections are fine. WiFi bounces up and down

My CAX80 has the same issue. hardwired connections are fine. WiFi bounces up and down. I tired to change a variety of settings but the save default back to factory. Is there a physical jumper and switch to enable changes to the router? Since its a WiFi only issue the issue is in the Netgear settings or bad hardware. the updates are current. bug in the Netgear WiFi software? My test connection is 2 feet away from router. any ideas? If Netgear support is online here, help.

No.  When the user logged into the administrative web interface clicks the "Apply" icon (usually at the top of the screen), changes are stored.

Netgear pays support staff to respond to customers who (a) have time left on their 90 days of 'complimentary support', or (b) have paid for extended support.

Many of us came to the Community Forum because our 90 days had expired, we were too cheap to pay Netgear $99/year in hopes that some kid off the street would be able to answer questions.  (Yes, I am definitely "cheap".  I also really wish I had realized at time of purchase that $49 for two years is a lot less costly than $99/year.)
