I cannot login routerlogin.net
I have a simillar problem on cax 30 with latest firmaware. I cannot login routerlogin.net. When after attempting hundreds of login attempts I can get in. Once i get in if i try to make some changes, I might lose connection in middle of the setup and will not be able to login again ! It is very frustrating.
I was not expecting a poor software on a 400$ router.

- FURRYe38Guru - Experienced UserCan you log in to 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.100.1? Has a factory reset and set up from scratch been performed since last FW update? What version of firmware is loaded on the modem? What browser are you using? Happens with MS Edge or Firefox? WIreless or ethernet connected? Which ISP are you connected with?
- CrimpOnGuru - Experienced UserPage 26 of the CAX30 User Manual is pretty specific about how to log into the device: https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/CAX30/CAX30_UM_EN.pdf (I admit to being a bit surprised that the User Manual does not mention routerlogin.net.) Have you tried following the directions in the User Manual?
- CrimpOnGuru - Experienced UserHave looked again, and page 19 of the User Manual says this: YEARS ago Netgear registered several URL's with a Certificate Authority, such as routerlogin.com, routerlogin.net, orbilogin.com, and orbilogin.net. Obviously, these URL's do not resolve to an IP address at Netgear. Rather, the Netgear router DNS process intercepts these URLs and returns the IP address of the router itself. More recently, the certificate authority no longer certifies these URLs and Netgear has substituted a Self-Signed SSL Certificate (which causes "problems" for a number of web browsers.) Sorry to have drug this conversation off topic. My advice is to use the IP address of the "gateway" when attempting to connect with the Netgear router.
