IP address on phone changing from 192 to 136

hello all,

 

  i hope this finds you well.

 

ive been having some issues for the past couple of days on my router and i hope you can give me an insight on what could be the cause.

 

i have 2 ios devices that connect to my wifi network.

 

somehow one of them (iphone) gets the ip changed in the router from a 192.x.x.x to a 136.x.x.x causing to have a DoS attack detected by the router.

 

the ip on the iphone stays as 192.x.x.x

 

this is not happening for the other ios device.

 

can you guys help me on trying to get a possible solution?

 

ISP is TWC

Firmware v2.02.08

      The iphone connects to the home SSID (2.4Ghz) getting a 192 address on the router and after a few moments that 192 ip address changes to 136 on the same SSID.

       

      if i go to the settings on the phone, i can see that the ip address is still a 192.

       

      ive tried doing a reset to default on the router and on the phone having the same results.

        Just wanted to post an update on this.

         

        i just reset to factory the iphone and upon connecting to the wifi ssid it immidiately changed it from 192 to a 136.

         

        there is something off with the router
