Nighthawk AC1900 telnet

I purchased this modem/router combo last year and I was able to get into the modem and add a static ip+mac with telnet. The modem has been reset and I havenot been able to get into it as of now. I'm trying to add a static IP with a my macaddress for WOL reasons. I have WOL working without any issues. On Lan and on internet. The problem I'm having is the arp table will drop my IP and Mac address after 10-15 minutes. Any suggestions on this one? The main reason for doing this is to be able to wake up my pc from work and out of the office lan

Do you mean setting a reserved IP address ON the modem for the PC? Static is a IP address that is set ON a device, not the router.

Can you access the modems web page at 192.168.100.1 or .0.1?

Yes I can access it and reserve the ip, but the problem I'm having is the table that holds all the active ip addresses clears any non-active ip after 15 minutes. I need to be able to access it via telnet to add an arp command to hold that up+Mac address until the modem/router is reset. (Static) that way when I try to wol outside of my network it will find my computer.

And you can't get telnet working? Some modems don't support telnet.

Try to see if you can access 192.168.0.1\debug.htm, If you can get here, there maybe a telnet check box. Enable the check box then telnet will be enabled for access.
