no wi-fi connections found

Wi-fi not doesnt have a valid IP configuration.....error message from my laptop.  all other devices in my house work.

  • It seems to be working now.  It was a simple fix of changing the power option to "maximum performance" and restarting my computer.  I will see if this takes care of the problem.  Thank you for your help.

Please give us the router model and the firmware it is running.

Though this sounds more like a PC issue than a router issue.  Can you give us the exact wording of the error message (a screen shot would be best).

Did you try connecting over ethernet, and making sure that worked?

Also, what version of windows, and what is the wifi adapter model in the PC?
