Putting N300 in "router only" mode with a Comcast Arris TG862 Modem/Router

I want to connect a Netgear N300 (model C3000) to a Comcast Arris TG862 router/modem/gateway that has very limited wifi coverage.   I need to put the Comcast modem/router in "bridge mode" to off ...

    I did some more research on the N300 unfortunately it cant be used as just a router/AP so the only way you could use the wireless off this modem is to make it modem for your comcast connection. Sorry that didn't work.

Hello Dworsky

 

Sorry i got the modem you have mixed up with another but i have attached a screen shot of what you need to have clicked and you do want to make sure the DHCP server is checked and active on the N300. And just make sure your New modem is in bridge mode. Let me know if this helps
