I would check with your ISP they may need to send a tech out to check your lines.

The lines have worked with two different modem/routers. Still not sure why my Netgear won't link up... maybe I have the wrong MAC ID? I don't have the original box or manual so I had to go into the system specs to find it... maybe it's not the right one though.

 Is it not on the product label (as the User Manual (pages 10, 14)
 suggests)?
 Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
 for Documentation.

 Perhaps: ADVANCED > Advanced Home : Internet Port : MAC Address
 (See User Manual, page 68.)
 With any luck, they'll agree. Note that there's also a MAC address
 for the LAN interface, but your ISP shouldn't care about that one.
