Uploading remotely to ReadyShare USB on Cax30 router
Hi,
I recently left home and I used to upload locally to a USB drive plugged into the back of my CAX30 router to share with my brothers computer. Now that I am in a different city I am trying to do the same remotely but cannot figure out how to get this to work, can anyone show what I may be doing wrong?
filezilla errors with the admin password that was setup during the intial router login setup
I am able to access the routers dashboard on the public IP

can anyone from netgear possibly please help me? I bought this renewed on amazon and it only came with a 90 day warranty, so I am past that now.
I'd contact Filezilla to be sure that your configuring there application correctly.
Can you access the CAX via FTP in a command line box?

What do you mean by your in a different city? Are you away from the CAX30 thats at home?
Are you behind a different modem/router in a different city?

I dont know what it was but I reset the password and I was able to get in, maybe it doesn't like $ signs
Glad you got it working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

I've been having a hard time finding a compatible USB storage device for my CAX30 modem. So far, I've tried: Samsung T7 SSD, WD portable hdd 2 TB, none worked. The Sandisk 64 GB is fine but I need at least 1 TB. Please help. I'm almost desparate! Thank you all.
