Xbox connection problems
I’ve been having this problem for a long time now. Ironically it’s gotten worse since upgrading to my Nighthawk AC1900 C7000. But the problem comes down to only the Xbox Series X
When it comes to trying to join a party chat I just cannot connect no matter how long. Same with cod I can’t play at all without saying network error. Xbox says can’t get teredo IP address. I’ve tried port forwarding. Netgear support, I’ve tried everything and went through support multiple times still no luck. I don’t know if it’s an IP address thing or the Teredo problem.
Xbox forums points to it being a NAT or double NAT issue. Our primary ISP is spectrum but router modem is Netgear. I genuinely have no idea how to fix this problem and it’s gotten worse after upgrading. Anyone?

Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status and event log page.

Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed?
- Astral_KlutchAspirantThe Xbox is on a wireless connection. As for cable connection and event logs what exactly am I supposed to copy & paste?
Also I just bought the router not long ago. So brand new with having to add the required ports for Xbox- FURRYe38Guru - Experienced User
You don't need to set up for configure any ports for use with xbox. if you do then you'll need to disable uPnP on the modem.
Please copy and paste the entire web page data from those two locations in your next post or put into a document and save off as a PDF file and attach to your next post.
What channels are you using on the modem for 2.4 and 5ghz radios?
Is Smart connect enabled?
How far is the xbox from the modem in distance feet?

Ok, first thing, power levels to the modem are too high:

Need to have the ISP turn these down or install a -3 to -6db attenuator to help reduce the power.
Any Criticals, Errors or Warnings seen in the event logs needs to be reviewed and resolved by the ISP. Indicates a signal issue on the ISP line up to the modem.
There are some correctables and un-correctables that should be zeros like the other channels show.
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Start with removing any amplifiers, signal attenuators, or splitters from the coax.
From there check the line for kinks, damage, moisture in the line.
Check the connectors for improperly made ends, foil touching the copper coax line, loose connections, bad/old/cheap connectors, or corroded connections. Replace them if you do.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON.

https://highspeed.tips/docsis-events/Smart Connect will be on the modems web page under Basic Tab/Wireless settings if it's supported here.
- Astral_KlutchAspirantSo since my primary ISP is Spectrum should I go through them or does Netgear handle everything on that end?

That all is handled and ISP responsible. Even FW updates.
