Cannot reset the wifi settings
I seemed to have lost the wifi extension from my AV200 powerline adapter. I have reset it (and the initial unit) and checked their encryption but using the Powerline Utility I keep getting a message that says 'wifi setting failed' when I try to complete that action. Any clues would be fab - all lights are opn and the utility says that the connections are good ???

Is that the XAVN2001? The XAV2001 does not do wifi.
There is a manual for the XAVN2001 somewhere at the end of this link:

What throws up this "wifi setting failed" message?

Yes the router is product is the XAVN2001
It has run perfectly since I bought it - a couple of years at least, I think. Then I noticed that the wireless point in the room that I used was dropped so I have been trying to reset it without success. I have checked the system connection, completed a reset of all settings on the network I have, and in the utiliy it lets me select the unit and then select wireless configuration and whatever option I select, whether its plugged into the usual point or cabled to the PC, it returns an error message that the action cannot be completed ?

XAVN2001 is not a router. It is a Powerline Wireless-N Extender.
I still do not know what returns an error message "that the action cannot be completed".
Do you mean the Powerfline Utility? Which version?
What are you doing when you see that error?
