Compatibility with Centurylink Bonded VDSL2?

We recently were "upgraded" to a bonded VDSL2 line by our ISP, CenturyLink. I didn't realize until after the install that the Netgear Router/Modem, range extender and Router I was using previously with ADSL could not be used with the bonded line. We ended up buying an Actiontec C1900A from CenturyLink and while the speed is great, the signal does not reach the whole house and I'm looking for options to extend the signal or move the modem/router to a better location (not in the basement where it currently is located). It was suggested I use a Powerline 500 to move the signal up to the main floor. I tried this since I already own several plug in access points but they could not interpret the signal and would not connect. When I tried troubleshooting this issue, it appeared that they did not find the IP address.

Has anyone else had this same issue, or does anyone know for sure if the Powerline 500 is compatible with bonded VDSL2? Most of the Netgear equipment boxes show the equipment is incompatible with bonded line, but I don't see this warning on the Powerline 500 packaging and don't know how to find out for sure.

Once the internet lands at your end, the technology that delivered it is irrelevant.

Fibre, cable DSL (bonded or otherwise), they all just create a local LAN. So you can add what you want to that.

Not sure that I understand that. Did you reset the Powerline plugs and start from scratch?

How do you know that they did not find the IP address?
