PLP1200 - TV stream lag

Hi

I installed  PLP1200 between my internet box and my tv receveiver.

It works quite fine, but I have some lags time to time. I don't know why.

On TV box, I tried to change settings related to image quality (HD vs SD).

I get same lags in SD mode. The SD mode is requiring less bandwith through the PLP (I assume...).

So, I don't know if I can change some settings on PLP 1200 devices.

Thank you for any advice.

    Hi Benico,

    1. How far is the TV receiver from the internet box?

    2. What is the speed you are getting from the 2nd adapter? To know the speed use a computer to connect to the adapter and do a speedtest.

      Hi,

      Thank you for your help.

1- TV is nearly at 2 meters, but electric cable can be longer than 2m. Anyway, all leds are green on the plug.

2- I cannot do the test simply (no laptop for this).

Can you tell me what is a good speed ? at what is the level under I can have problem ?

      Kindly

      Benico

        Hi Benico,

It is still depends on how much speed the TV can get through the powerline. You can try connecting a computer for the mean time and do a speedtest.
