powerline 1200

Hi,

 

is it possible to buy a single powerline 1200? the shops in belgium only sell a starterskit.

if not so, is there any other powerline that can communicate with the netgear pl1200?

    Netgear, like  most suppliers, deals only in twin packs.

     

    If you can find a seller that makes singeltons, then is it uses the AV standard, it should work with the Netgear plugs. (Check out "av1200 powerline" on Google.)

     

    One fly in the ointment, a powerline network operates at the speed of the slowest devices. So add an AV500 to your 1200 Mbps, and the AV500 calls the shots at 500 Mbps.
