WNCE2001 power led blinking green and no connection

Question

There was another topic with this same name, but it is closed. I have the same problem, and none of the solutions listed there worked for me. The power light continues to flash green and the unit doesn't work. I've tried resetting, to no avail. I've connected to my PC, adjusted the DNS settings and tried to ping it, but that didn't work. I downloaded the latest firmware and tried to tftp it, but only got timeout messages.

As far as I can tell, this thing is a piece of crap. If anyone has any other suggestions, I would love to hear them. Otherwise, I will not be purchasing any Netgear equipment in the future and will definitely recommend that others don't as well.

That's the link that I did check first.&nbsp; Tried everything suggested and nothing works.&nbsp; Again, this thing is a POS.

The only way to recover the firmware is through TFTP. If it did not work for you, which means the adapter is no longer working.

Yes, I tried tftp and it did not work.&nbsp; It attempted to push data but timed out.&nbsp; Like I said, POS.

If it did not work then the adapter is already defective. You may need to purchase a new one.
