    Hi nathalia,

Hard reset the extender and join the NETGEAR_EXT wifi network.  After you connect to it, you'll be able to browse to www.mywifiext.net and update the firmware.

        Hello nathalia,

When you hard reset the extender are you able to locate the wifi network named "NETGEAR_EXT" using a laptop or mobile device?

Hi nathalia - You can try logging into your router's admin page and locating the extender under the router's attached devices list. Once you identify your extender, there will be an IP address you can use to enter in a web browser eg. 192.168.1.x. Enter in the IP address shown and you should be prompted to log into the extender's admin page.
