AC1900 wi-fi range extender model ex6410
Now, initially it was working, but over the last few months I seem to be losing signal to any devices in the area where I had poor signal before I bought this.
I have tried a factory re-set as per the manual but now when I go through the setup I cannot get mt BT Router using 'BT smart hub manager' software to see it at all.
My BT router is the one that came with my 'guaranteed to never lose a signal again' plan that I pay £54 per month for just the broadband, as I do not have a landline.
Now the details of my problem:-
I plug it in only 6ft from the BT Router and all lights come on and are steady (no flashing), I try using the 'Nighthawk' App using my mobile phone but Nighthawk cannot connect or see it?
I get a message fromNighthawk saying 'Issues connecting with (HubName),I have used the Nighthawk app and gone through everything it suggests and it seems I am doing the right things.
Any ideas/help please.

Did you set it up using the push button WPS option?
If so, factory reset the extender and set it up using the installation assistant.
To factory reset, push and hold the reset button for 7-15 seconds while powered on.

There is no WPS on my router and with a Nighthawk search I keep getting 'Extender Not Found'
NETGEAR-EXT does not appear anywhere for me?
so you factory reset it by pushing and holding reset while powered on for 15 seconds?
What are the lights doing during and after that?
The annoying thing is I only bought it in November 2020 from Amazon!
