Cannot finish Genie setup (WN2500RP)
Hello, I've been using my Netgear WN2500RP in a few different apartments very successfully for a few years now.
However, in my most recent move when I try to set it up through the Netgear Geanie by going to http://mywifiext.net the setup is excruciatingly slow and I'm unable to successfully progress beyond selecting my wifi network.
I've tried on both chrome and edge on two different computers (both Windows 10). I have several other devices in the same room that are easily able to connect to my main network and get excellent signal and speed.
I'm at a loss of why the setup is not only slow, but slow to the point where it will not load critical fields I need to complete the setup. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

are you factory resetting the extender before trying to set it up again?

Initially no, but yes, I have done a factory reset with and no different result.

I suggest contacting support could be a issue with the extender.

Hi rmarcus88,
Are you trying the setup when extender and your router/gateway are next to each other?
Ensure you don't have any devices that might interfere or block wireless signals nearby.
Also, try it from any hand held devices like smart phone or tablet.
