Can't connect to WN3000RP
Hi,
I have my extender connected to my router and I have 4 green lights on the extender. When I try to connect to it using ipad, phone or mac I just get the spinning wheel. This stays on for ages, 20 minutes earlier, before I eventually give in.
I can connect to my router without any issues with all 3 devices.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

What is the firmware version running on your WN3000RP?
What is the IP address of your Router?
What is the IP address received on your wireless clients?
If you have a wired computer kindly connect it with an Ethernet cable to the WN3000RP and check if you get a valid IP address from your router. - Forsh75Novice

I've tried to get into the admin of the extender but whenever I go to 192.168.1.250 I just get sent to the wifi connection page and asked to enter my WPA key.
Thanks - storm_2003NoviceFrom the location where your WN3000RP, does your ipad, phone can connect to your Dreytek Vigor 2710 wireless SSID and able to go online?
Please try accessing the GUI through mywifiext.net or ping it. It should reply with the WN3000RP's IP address(if the IP changed).
btw did you set the SSID for the WN3000RP same as your router? - Pater1946AspirantHello Storm. I am having the same difficulty as Forsh75. Following answers to the questions you posed to him:

Hi Pater1946, I suggest you these steps below:
1. Perform a factory reset on this unit.
2. Connect wired or wireless to the extender SSID.
3. If you will not get a valid IP address set a static IP address of 192.168.0.50(just an example).
4. Access the extender's GUI through 192.168.0.250.
5. Once login kindly set a static values for the extender:
IP: 192.168.0.250
SM : 255.255.255.0
DG : 192.168.0.35 (Router's IP address)
6. Connect the extender to the router's SSID. Make sure to fill the right credentials of the router.
Let me know if this works. - jpcamaro70AspirantI hate this range extender. always losing it's connection, so unreliable and setup is a nightmare.

What is the color of the link LED of the extender? Try to move the extender closer to your router. Also try changing channels. Remove any wireless device in between the extender and the router.
