EX6150 WiFi range extender drops connection for a few seconds very often.
I have the latest firmware. I'm located a floor above my router and use the EX6150 so that I can get a stronger connection in my room. I've noticed that every hour or so, the connection will drop for a few seconds and then reconnect. I used to own the EX6100 and I never had this problem before. Does anyone have any idea as to what is happening here and why this is happening with the new extender but not the old one? I know that it isn't the extender itself because I also own an EX6400 and the same issue occurs.
Things I've tried:
- Updated to the latest firmware.
- Switched Wifi channels.
- Removed devices from my network.
- Moved the extender to be slightly closer to my router.
- Reset the extender.
- Reset the router.
- Replaced the ethernet cable the extender connects to my PC with.
- Replaced the power strip.
I'm really at a loss.

Hi ryu1994,
If your issue persist on both extenders even after you tried all the steps mentioned in your post, this could be an issue with router itself. Do experience these disconnection on devices connected to router too?
