EX7500 can not access web interface after firmware upgrade
EX7500 can not access web interface after firmware upgrade. It said it was loading the new firmware then the web page stopped responding. The extender is online and working per its lights. I have tried unpluging and back in but no change. Is my only option to reset to factory defaults?

Same thing happened to me this past weekend. I saw an update and decided to do it as I was starting to have some connection issues to the extender. The update locked up and I now hav a $200 brick!! Called support and they told me to factory reset and re install which I have already done 8 times now. I STILL cannot get it to connect to the Internet properly and cannot see the log in page (www.wifiext.local). I am out of support warranty by a couple of months but still have hardware warranty. This company has not been very helpful at all with this isssue. something happened during the firmware update and my externder is screwed!!

And its STILL dropping connections!! I have had my ISP round to check and signal is good. It is this extender. Total waste of $200 and I will NOT recommend this plastic brick!!

I was finally able to speak to L2 suppoort and solve this. If the extender is using the same wifi network as the riouter you can only access the web interface using its IP address. The mywifiext.local only wortks when the extemnder creates its own network.
