Extender Incorrect Password

HI, I have an extender and since changing my internet provider whatever I try to connect my devices won't acceot the new password, saying it's incorrect. I've tried the set up wizrd just connecting to Netgear. I've factory re-set a few times. Nothing works. Any ideas?

  • Hi I changed router and now my wifi extender wont let me log in says password incoreect .How do I tell it the new wifi password .Tried reset and it didnt work .Tried using the old wifi password didnt work.Any ideas.

      Hello sjc501

       

      You will want to hold the reset button for 10+ seconds to factory reset the unit then you should be able to set up the unit for the new router.

    Have you tried to change the password on the extender to something different than the main networks password? also is you main router using WPA2 security?
