N600 range extender - Model WN2500RPv2 -- Troubleshooting

Question

An older range extender which no longer allows me to connect to it.

First step, reset to factory settings. Pressed the button on the back and now the WIFI networks reads: "NETGEAR_EXT"

I select network, it acquires the signal. Then a box pops up. This is usually the setup wizard installation guide.

However the box that pops up now is blank, totally empty. No text, no image, nothing.

I've repeated steps multiple times, all that shows up is a blank box. Unable to rename the network, unable to connect to main modem, unable to use internet.

Any ideas?

DId you try to use multiple web browsers?

That box is auto generated whenever you select the network "netgear_ext".&nbsp;It isn't a web browser. Any attempt to use a web browser fails for it will say there is no internet connection.&nbsp;

Have you tried the extender setup on a phone or tablet and see if you get the same results?

I've tried with a tablet and receive the same results. When the network is selected a blank box pops up, unable to login or select anything.&nbsp;
