Wifi Extender Issues - EX7700

Question

Hello,I have been running a Negear Nighthawk router (Tri Band Ax8 - RAX70) with the Router Firmware Version V1.0.19.172 without any issues.&nbsp;I purchased a Netgear Wifi extender EX7700 to expand the home Wifi. My issue is that when a device connects to the WIFI extender it appears to be registered as a new device and the main router then places this into the "Home" profile in Parental Controls in the Netgear Nighthawk app. This happens even if the device was previously registered on the main router and assigned a "profile" in SPC.I have applied a static IP to the Wifi extender but the problem continues. I'm sure this is not normal behaviour and the main router should be assigning the IP addresses.Any suggestions or solutions to fix this issue would be appreciated.&nbsp;

What static IP address is assigned and placed on the EX extender?&nbsp;

What happens if you disable SPC on the NH app and check for device operation and IP addressing?&nbsp;

I assigned ip of 192.168.1.240 for the extender. I will need to come back once I have disabled SPC and checked configuration and IP addressing

Is that address put on the extender or reservied on the router?&nbsp;

I had put it on the extender.

Make sure that IP address is on in the routers default IP address pool range. Any static IP addresses need to be out side of the routers DHCP IP address pool range.
