VPN connects but no IP address for remote network
I have enabled VPN on the firewall and created the configuration files. At remote site i have downloaded the OpenVPN client and installed the software. The config files are copied to the appropriate folder.
The VPN Client opens and connects successfully and indicates that the connection is good.
When I check the IP config information i see that the VPN adapter has a 169.x.x.x address, meaning that it cannot get an address through DHCP. In the connection log i see the following entries of interest:

Any ideas of why i cannot get an IP address on the remote network? I have also tried assigning a static ip to the Netgear VPM adapter in the remote network with no success.
Sorry such a log explanation

Hi m43999,
Welcome to the community! :)
What is the brand and model of the VPN firewall you are using? If ever it is a NETGEAR VPN Firewall, what is the current firmware version of it?
